Backstory

Born to Poseidon and a Cretan queen, Selene commanded the fiercest fleet the Aegean has ever seen — until she refused her father's order to drown a city that had offered proper tribute. Stripped of her command and cursed to walk the shore as a mortal, she now seeks the Oracle's counsel: was her defiance fate's design, or her own ruinous choice?
